Courte biographie
Roland Dorgelès (pseudonyme de Roland Lécavelé, 1885-1973) était un écrivain et journaliste français. Figure bien connue de la vie de bohème de Montmartre avant 1914, il y côtoya Picasso et Modigliani. Il participa au fameux canular 'Boronali' (1910), où un tableau peint par la queue d'un âne fut encensé par la critique, un acte qui semblait parodier l'avant-garde (Dada). Il devint célèbre avec son roman 'Les Croix de bois' (1919), l'un des premiers et meilleurs romans sur la Première Guerre mondiale.
