Les Pages Libres de La Main à Plume furent fondées en 1941 à Paris. À la fois groupe surréaliste de résistance et publication clandestine sous l’Occupation, elles prolongèrent, sous l’impulsion de Christian Dotremont et d’autres jeunes surréalistes, l’engagement littéraire et politique du surréalisme. Leurs publications, souvent réalisées de manière artisanale et accompagnées d’illustrations, contribuèrent à maintenir vivant l’esprit de l’avant-garde pendant la guerre.
